Ignorance, favoritism tops Health Ministry complain list
Claims of ignorance and favoritism are two areas of complaints received by the Ministry of Health almost everyday.

Patients who visit the health centers complain about waiting for long hours to be seen by a doctor, than to someone who gets involved in an accident and is taken directly in, irrespective of the fact that he came later.

Medical Superintendent of CWM Hospital, Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete has today clarified why some patients are treated before others who are already waiting in the Que and stressed that patients are divided into four categories.

He added that if a patient is attended to ahead of someone who has been waiting for the last few hours, it is all because of the severity of the sickness or injury that the person is carrying.
