Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says if anybody were to listen to the opposition, they would think there is nothing working in the public health system.

In his right of reply, Sayed-Khaiyum particularly took aim at contributions that were made by Opposition Leader Sitiveni Rabuka and NFP Leader Biman Prasad.

He said Prasad spent nearly three quarters of his statement this morning trying to defend his goof up.

Sayed-Khaiyum also responded to Rabuka’s concerns about the leasing of vehicles.

The Supplementary Budget was passed in the last hour.
