IG to ensure PWD equipment is fixed
The interim government is now working to ensure that about 60 diggers and road rollers that have been standing idle at the PWD depots around the country are repaired and put to use.

Fijivillage has received information that prior to the end of 2006, the Works Ministry and the government had the policy to hire diggers, rollers and other machines from private contractors although a number of these equipment is owned by the government.

Works Ministry spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said this policy has now changed.
