I will continue to work on educating people on HIV/AIDS - President
Outgoing President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau

Outgoing President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau says he is focused on continuing to work on educating the people about HIV AIDS.

While speaking at a special thanksgiving ceremony for the President organized by the Ministry of Education at Vunimono High School, Ratu Epeli says HIV AIDS work is an unending campaign.

Ratu Epeli says he has visited many schools in Fiji to ensure that he takes the message of HIV AIDS to as many people as possible.

Ratu Epeli says a lot more work needs to be done as there are people still out there who feel that issues relating to sex should not be discussed with the younger generation.

Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will leave the President’s Office next month.

The country’s new President will be elected by parliament next Monday.
