I wanted my son to have someone he can look up to - Parker
45-year-old Felix Parker

A father graduated today from the University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor in Human Resources and Law.

45-year-old Felix Parker says as a father he wanted his son to have someone to look up to as his son was already a student in USP before he started his Bachelor’s program.

Parker says he only reached Year 8 before he went back to Rotuma.

He says when he was 18 he came back to Suva and attended Monfort Boys Town where he got what was then a Form 4 level Mechanical Certificate.

Parker has acknowledged his wife who has been a pillar of strength in his life financially and emotionally as he has been a full time student for the past three years and his wife has supported the family since.
