This is what Labasa fisherman, Chandra Deo heard at about 2.45 Friday morning when he and a few others were fishing in the Macuata waters.
Deo told Fijivillage that they quickly switched off the radio and looked out to sea.
He confirmed that they saw Ratu Peni Vulaca and his nephew Vereniki calling for help.
However there was no sign of the late Tui Macuata, Ratu Aisea Katonivere who was with the two men.
Deo who is a fisherman from Siberia, Labasa said he asked the two men if there was anyone else with them but they could not speak at the time.
At about 2pm last Thursday, Ratu Aisea Katonivere, Ratu Peni Vulaca and Vereniki, went fishing in a fibre glass boat and were supposed to return on Friday morning.
The Tui Macuata's body was later found on Friday morning in the Macuata waters.
Meanwhile, the Bose Vanua in the chiefly village of Naduri is expected today which will be chaired by the king maker of the Tui Macuata and iTaukei Namara Ratu Peni Sogia.
The younger brother of the late Tui Macuata, Ratu Wili Maivalili Katonivere has been traditionally informed by traditional leaders.
The Vanua o Caumatalevu continues the preparation for the funeral.
It has been confirmed that the funeral will be held at 9am Saturday in Naduri Village.
It has been confirmed that Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama who is currently in the US will also attend the funeral.
Meanwhile the chiefly household has confirmed that the late chief's body is at the Labasa hospital mortuary and is being guarded by the traditional warriors.
