The Minister for Local Government and Transport Parveen Bala says he has full confidence in the LTA Board.
Bala made these comments after SODELPA MP Aseri Radrodro called for the sacking of the Land Transport Authority Chairman Vijay Maharaj and the whole LTA board.
Radrodro had made the call after LTA fined 13 people for travelling in buses without valid e‑ticketing receipts and failure to pay fares.
Radrodro said it is not indicated on the card that passengers must keep their bus tickets.
Bala says whatever Radrodro has raised is his own opinion.
Bala says that the law was there from the beginning that passengers need to carry their bus tickets.
