Hunt continues for the person who allegedly raped 2-yr-old girl

There is still no breakthrough in investigations in the case of a 2-year-old girl allegedly raped outside her home in Rakiraki.

Police say they have been interviewing a few people to gather statements however they do not have any suspects at this stage.

The girl was playing outside her home when the alleged incident occurred on Thursday.

The matter was reported to Police by the victim's mother.
