Fiji edges South Africa 10-7 to book SF spot

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team edged South Africa 10-7 to book a cup semifinal spot in Hong Kong.

Iowane Teba scored the lone try for Fiji in the first half as South Africa led 7-5 at halftime.

Napolioni Bolaca scored in the 10th minute of play to put Fiji in the lead 10-7.

Speaking after the game, Pilipo Bukayaro says they knew South Africa are a tough team and they will give their best.

Fiji will play Great Britain in the semi final at 7.52 tonight while New Zealand will play France in the first semi final at 7.29 tonight.

The cup final will be played at 12:15am Monday.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana will play New Zealand at 7.06 tonight in their semi final.
