Tourism Fiji CEO, Brent Hill.

Tourism Fiji CEO, Brent Hill is urging businesses to ensure that all their staff are adhering to the COVID safe measures such as doing VAX Check and the QR check-in.

Hill says he has received reports that places are not doing proper checks, however when he was at that place a few days earlier, all checks were done.

Hill says his message to the industry is that everyone has to be 100 percent compliant to all the protocols and requirements.

The CEO is also calling on the general public to ask that their vaccination status is checked if they notice that some places are not doing that.

Hill says everyone can play a role and adds that the protocols are designed to keep the people safe.

He says they are happy with the compliant rate.
