High interest from international teams for Coral Coast 7s - Whyte
Coral Coast 7s tournament Director Jay Whyte

Coral Coast 7s tournament Director Jay Whyte says a lot of interest has been shown by international teams to participate in the 2024 McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s that will be held from the 18th to the 20th of January, 2024, at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.

He says some key international sides are coming because there is only a single leg rather than the back-to-back tournaments in World 7s Series.

Whyte says they have announced Sir Gordon Tietjens and Dan Norton as tournament ambassadors and they will be announcing the McDonald’s Ambassador All-Star team later, which will be a major announcement.

16 men’s, 16 youth and 8 women’s teams will compete in the Fiji Coral Coast 7s next January.
