A heavy rain warning remains in place for Suva, Nausori, Navua, Pacific Harbour, Tailevu, Naitasiri, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Kadavu, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group.

A flood warning remains in force for low lying areas, and areas adjacent to Wainimala and Wainibuka rivers.

The warning is also for the Suva to Nausori corridor, Korovou to Natovi and from Lami to Naboutini along the Queens Highway.

Heavy rain can also cause flash flooding of low lying areas.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the country and will affect us until tomorrow.
