Heavy rain warning remains in place for Eastern and interior parts of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Kadavu, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group

A heavy rain warning remains in place for the Eastern and interior parts of Viti Levu which includes Suva, Nausori, Navua, Pacific Harbour, Tailevu and Naitasiri, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Kadavu, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group.

A heavy rain alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office says that a flood warning remains in place for low lying areas and areas adjacent to the Waidina, Waimanu and Waibula rivers.

A flash flood warning remains in place for low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to Wainimala and Wainibuka rivers. A flood alert is also in place for the Suva to Nausori corridor and Korovou along the Kings Highway and from Lami to Naboutini Village along the Queens Highway.

A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the country and is expected to affect us until tomorrow.
