Heavy rain warning remains for some parts
A heavy rain warning remains in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, the Lau and Lomaiviti Group, Kadavu and the Eastern half of Viti Levu.

The Nadi Weather Office said major flooding is expected in some areas in the Central and Eastern Division today going into tonight as heavy rain will continue for the next 24 hours.

The tropical depression is located about 170Km North-Northeast of Suva and about 40Km South Southwest of Labasa at 6pm today.

It is slow moving.

Nadi Weather Office Director Alipate Waqaicelua confirmed that things will not improve tomorrow morning.
