A heavy rain warning is now in force for Northern and Western parts of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Yasawa and Mamanuca group.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure is approaching us from the North. Associated cloud and rain will affect the group from later today.

Be prepared for flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas, flooding of small rivers, creeks and roads, poor visibility on roads in areas of heavy rain for drivers and reduced visibility at sea.

Stay safe and stay with us for developments.
