The heavy rain warning that was previously in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and the Lau Group has been cancelled.
However, strong winds over the land areas of southern parts of Fiji continue to affect Southwest Viti Levu, Kadavu and the Lau Group.
This is due to a tropical depression which was located about 370 kilometres west‑southwest of Kadavu this morning and is moving away from Fiji.
Weather has cleared up in most parts of the country.
