Heavy rain warning and flood warning previously in force for parts of Fiji have been cancelled.

The Nadi Weather Office says Tropical Disturbance 04F with the associated active trough of low pressure lies to the East of Vanua Levu and continues to move East away from Fiji.

They say there will be cloudy periods with brief showers over the southern parts and interior of Viti Levu including Coral Coast, Navua, Suva, Nausori, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, southern Bua and Cakaudrove provinces, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.

Weather conditions will become fine apart from brief showers tomorrow while fine weather is expected to prevail elsewhere apart from few brief showers.

TD04F has a very low chance to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours due to unfavourable environmental conditions.
