People can expect rain this weekend as a heavy rain warning remains in force for the Fiji group and a strong wind warning is in force for land areas of Lau and Lomaiviti group.
The Nadi Weather Office says this is due to a trough of low pressure that lies slow moving over the Fiji group.
It says people can expect occasional rain, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls and this is expected to clear early next week.
Isolated heavy falls may also lead to localised flooding of low lying areas.
