Heavy rain and strong wind warning in force for Fiji

A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

A flood warning remains in force for Rakiraki Town, Wailotua, Ba River, Sigatoka River, Nadi River, Nadi Town, Wainimala River, Mulomulo and Semo River.

A strong wind warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office says the second Tropical Disturbance is located 690 kilometres west‑northwest of Nadi and is currently moving east‑southeast at 11 kilometres per hour towards the Fiji group.

The associated trough is expected to affect the country from this afternoon.

Heavy rain will continue until Thursday.

The third Tropical Disturbance located near Vanuatu is also heading our way.
