A Heavy Rain and Flash Flood Warning remains in force for the northern division and northern Lau Groups.

The Nadi Weather Office says the Heavy Rain Warning previously in force for the rest of Fiji has now been downgraded to a heavy rain alert.

A flash flood warning remains in force for all low-lying, flash flood-prone areas and small streams in the north.

A flash flood alert remains in force for all low-lying, flash flood-prone areas and small streams for the western and central-eastern divisions.

A flood alert remains in force for flood-prone areas adjacent to and downstream of the major rivers in Fiji.

The Weather Office say an active trough of low pressure with associated clouds and rain remains slow-moving over the northeastern parts of Fiji.

They say it is expected to affect the group until Monday, while another trough of low pressure is anticipated to approach and affect the group from tomorrow.
