Heavy rain alert in force for the whole of Fiji group

A heavy rain alert is in force for the whole of Fiji group.

The Nadi Weather Office says a trough of low pressure is expected to approach the group from the West.

Associated cloud, rain and showers are expected to affect us until tomorrow.

Expect heavy rain and a few thunderstorms developing from the West later tonight and spreading to the rest of the group.

Heavy rain may lead to flash-flooding of low lying areas, minor roads, Irish crossings and bridges with some disruption to traffic flow.
