Host New Zealand has thrashed Fiji 9-nil in the OFC Men’s Olympic Qualifier 2023 final at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland.

New Zealand's win has assured them a spot in the 2024 Olympics.

They dominated from the outset and outclassed Fiji as they struggled to keep their composure with poor discipline allowing New Zealand to score twice in the first six minutes of the match.

Riley Bidois was the star of the match as he scored four goals for the team.

Meanwhile, Fiji's captain Etonia Dogalau had a real chance in the 23rd minute running onto a lovely through ball but lacked in the finish.

New Zealand led Fiji 5-0 at half time.
