The hearing date for the appeal case of former Fiji 7s player Amenoni Nasilasila will be set on the 23rd of next month.
Nasilasila was sentenced to 8 years imprisonment for raping a 24 year old woman in Sigatoka in 2018.
Nasilasila's lawyer, Mosese Naivalu told the court that he has submitted the copies of affidavit and translation copies of the messages to the trial lawyers through the Chief Registry.
He says the trial lawyers have not responded to the documents yet.
