The Assistant Minister for Health and Medical Services, Veena Bhatnagar has confirmed that more health centre pharmacies will be extending their opening hours in the coming months.
She said that their focus in the coming month will be on the health centres in the Nausori area.
She added that they are still having discussions about extending the opening hours of other pharmacies.
Bhatnagar said that they also considering looking at the health centre pharmacies in the Northern and Western division.
She said that all changes done to pharmacies opening hours will be considered with the need and the demand from the public.
She also highlighted that the Ministry is also looking at the shortage of nurses and doctors in hospitals.
