Acting Permanent Secretary of Health, Dr. Josefa Koroivueta says the Health Ministry has only conducted a bacteria test analysis on the water at Natadradave, Dawasamu.

Koroivueta says he was informed that the test was done to look at the quality of the water that hundreds of people are going to drink in Natadradave.

When asked on people claiming that many people are getting healed after drinking the water, Koroivueta says when it comes to healing he thinks it is beyond scientific measurement to really put logic as to why people get better from drinking the water.

Meanwhile the Water Authority of Fiji has built sheds and new pipes at the Natadradave Village site to make it convenient for the public.

Water Authority CEO Opetaia Ravai says they had carried out the work after they went to Natadradave to see what they can do to assist as a government agency.

Speaking to Fijivillage from Natadradave, Village Headman Tomasi Naisoso says they are very thankful and honored to the Water Authority for the provision of the shed and taps.

Fulton Hogan Hiways who are contracted by the Fiji Roads Authority have also upgraded the road that leads to the village.
