The trial period is a massive window for us as it is great to go in and try something against quality opposition.

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men’s Head Coach, Mick Byrne highlighted this regarding their two warm up matches.

Their first one is against the Brumbies at 7.45pm next Saturday 3rd February 2024 at Viking Park in Canberra.

The Drua then take on the Melbourne Rebels at 5.30pm on Friday 16th February at Gosch’s Paddock in Melbourne.

Byrne says the boys came back from their Christmas break in the best shape he has seen them as this is the third time.

He says the last couple of years they would usually have to go back and revisit some things but due to their professionalism they were able to move on from what they were before the break.

The Drua open their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific campaign against the Blues in Whangarei on February 24th.
