A 67-year-old grandfather has been found guilty of raping, indecently annoying and sexually assaulting his grand daughter.
The offenses took place between 1st June 2012 to 31st June 2015 in Tailevu.
The man has been found guilty of one count of indecent assault, 5 counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, however he has been acquitted of one count of rape.
High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza said the girl had testified in court that her grandfather had raped her when she was in Year 2.
The case will be called next Tuesday for sentencing hearing.
