Govt to talk to Australian and NZ High Commissions
With voter registration for the 2014 elections expected to begin next month, the government is expected to speak to the Australian and NZ High Commissions on their offer to fully fund the electronic voter registration process.

Attorney General and Minister for Elections Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum confirmed that Canadian company, Code Inc will carry out the registration process and it is expected to be completed within 8 weeks.

He said talks need to be held with the NZ and Australian High Commission officials because they have some pre-conditions set before agreeing to fund the process.
