Govt still analyzing Qantas proposal
The Fiji government is still analysing on whether it would buy out the shares of Qantas in the country's international carrier, Air Pacific.

Qantas has already announced that it is planning to divest its shares in Air Pacific after it started off it's own budget airline, Jetstar.

Qantas has 47 percent shares in Air Pacific while the Fiji government owns 51 percent of the shares in the airline company.

Civil Aviation Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said talks are underway in relation to the proposal by Qantas.
