A $6 million deed was signed today between the Government and the Vatukoula Gold Mines Limited which will contribute more money to the Trust Fund at Vatukoula and to the economy.
Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum said the deed settlement is for five years starting today.
Vatukoula Gold Mines General Manager David Paxton is pleased with the agreement with the Government.
Meanwhile Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Netani Sukanaivalu reiterated that Government is looking forward to working with the new Management of Vatukoula Gold Mines.
