Govt reallocates FM radio and TV frequencies
The government has today announced that work on the reallocation of FM radio station and television frequencies have been completed and the station operators have to ensure that they move to the new frequencies by July 1st this year.

Communications Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said consultations are now underway with the radio and TV station operators in the country to ensure that they move to the reallocated frequencies by the set date.

He said the only stations that will stay on the same frequency on the radio dial are those that are branded stations by frequency.

Sayed-Khaiyum said with the reallocation of FM station frequencies, four additional national radio channels are now available in Fiji.
