SODELPA MP Ro Filipe Tuisawau and AG Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

SODELPA MP Ro Filipe Tuisawau says since the 2006 coup there have been hardly any state land declared native land under Section 8 of the State Lands Act while Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says Tuisawau has come to parliament with no clean hands and only for political motivation.

While delivering his End of Week Statement, Tuisawau claims that the Government has either gone to sleep or does not want to see the iTaukei get a greater share of the economic pie.

He says the Government has done peanuts for the iTaukei.

In his response, Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says Tuisawau should stop trying to create uncertainty in our economy.

He says Tuisawau should stop trying to create political mischief for his short term political gain.
