Govt encourages investors

Government has encouraged investors to provide shipping service to maritime islands.

This is after the launched of the new Lomaiviti Princess which is privately owned by George Gounder a former Fiji residents now leaving in Canada.

Principal Economic Transport Planning Officer Sainiana Radrodro said the new boat will solve shipping problem for maritime islands especially in Lomaiviti, Kadavu, and Vanua Levu.
