Jonetani Gonewai of Ratu Kadavulevu School will be aiming to win more medals on Day 2 of the Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone as he will be running in the 200 metres and the 4 X 100 metres today.

Gonewai won the blue ribbon event yesterday, stopping the time at 10.97 seconds.

The RKS team performed well after Day 1 of the competition as they clean-sweep the 100 metres race and collected some medals in the field events.

Today’s competition will see fifty tracks and twenty field events, that include the 3,000 metres, 800 metres, 400 metres, 200 metres, and the relays.

The Organisers have said that they will only release the medal tally once the competition finishes.

The Tailevu Zone will start at 8.30 this morning at the HFC Bank Stadium with the 400 metres final.
