There are revelations today that Fiji rugby’s National Coaching Director Frank Boivert has now conducted the video analysis of all of the Digicel Fiji Sevens team’s pool opponents and sent the game plans from here to the team in Las Vegas.
Boivert has revealed this in an exclusive interview with Fijivillage.
Boivert said it is now up to the coaching staff in Las Vegas to execute the plans.
He is still confident that the team can turn things around after their performance in the NZ Sevens last weekend.
Boivert also said there was a specific issue that was beyond their control in the NZ Sevens that may have resulted in our players performing below expectation.
We asked him what happened in NZ.
Fijivillage asked Boivert again whether he will bring the issue within his control as the National Coaching Director.
We also asked him to explain to the fans if this issue is on or off the field.
We are still trying to speak to FRU Chief Executive Manasa Baravilala who is in Las Vegas.
The Sevens management has placed a media ban and are not saying anything from the US.
