The Opposition’s defeated motion to re-establish the Great Council of Chiefs has been labelled by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama as a classic waste of time.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Bainimarama said Fiji has been doing well without the Great Council of Chiefs.
29 MPs had voted against the GCC motion while 16 parliamentarians voted for it.
