GCC meeting to be held at Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort, Pacific Harbour next Wednesday and Thursday

The 2024 Great Council of Chiefs meeting will be held at the Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort in Pacific Harbour next week.

The Ministry of i-Taukei Affairs has confirmed that the meeting will be held next Wednesday and Thursday.

Minister for i-Taukei Affairs Ifereimi Vasu says preparations are underway for another significant gathering for our chiefs.

We have sent further questions to the Ministry of i-Taukei Affairs on the agenda of the meeting. They are yet to respond.
