Fully developed Suva Bus stand expected soon as final works progress

A fully developed Suva Bus Stand is expected to be completed in the coming weeks, as the Fiji Roads Authority focuses on the final stages of improvement works.

The FRA says significant progress has been made on the long-awaited upgrade, and once completed, the facility will offer a safer, more efficient, and commuter-friendly environment for thousands of daily users.

They say this includes reinstating concrete footpaths for pedestrian safety and accessibility, constructing dish channels for effective surface water drainage to maintain pavement integrity, and applying pavement lane markings to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow within the station.

People are urged to be vigilant and strictly adhere to all safety signs and instructions provided by the SCC officials while these works are underway.
