Fuel prices increase

Fuel prices increase
Brace yourself to dig deeper into your pockets as fuel prices will increase from today.

The Prices and Incomes Board has announced that price of unleaded fuel will increase by 18 cents and the new price will be $1.96 a litre.

Diesel prices will increase by 15 cents to $1.58 per litre.

A litre of kerosene will cost 13 cents more from today as the new price will be $1.25 per litre.

The Premix outboard fuel price will go up by 19 cents and will cost $1.89 per litre.

Traders and consumers are advised that the prices will differ in other areas due to additional cartage and delivery charges.   

According to PIB, the prices reflect the full impact of the April 2009 devaluation and the change to cleaner diesel.
