Middle : Asaeli Noalau Nasau with his parents

Asaeli Noalau Nasau did not let the fact that he grew up as the son of a farmer and flower arranger deter him from dreaming big.

Nasau, who is from Naraiyawa Village in Namosi, graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the Fulton Adventist University.

The 23-year-old says he grew up watching his parents work tirelessly, with his father toiling on the farm daily, while his mother used her talent as a flower arranger at the Suva Market to earn an income.

He says witnessing their daily struggles motivated him to stay focused on his education.

During his first year at Fulton, he was a private student, and his parents worked hard to cover his fees despite financial challenges.

Now that he has graduated, Nasau says it’s his turn to give back.

He is determined to support his parents the same way they supported him throughout his journey.
