The government’s free milk initiative for Year 1 students will be launched today by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at Nakelo District School in Tailevu.
The free milk program which received an allocation of $3.5 million in the 2015 budget will see each student in year 1 being provided 250ml of milk per day.
Bainimarama had previously expressed his disappointment that they did not meet their objective of providing free milk from the beginning of Term One.
