The Frank Hilton Organisation is aiming to collect $300,000 during the Amazing Wheelbarrow Race which will be held tomorrow at the Albert Park.

23 teams have confirmed their participation in the race.

The Organisation started this fundraising in 2016 to address the needs of children with disability and their families in Fiji by providing them with essential early detection and intervention services for children with disabilities and developmental delays.

Frank Hilton says the race promises an exhilarating display of skills and teamwork from participants.

Teams participating in the Wheelbarrow Physical Race 2024 include; Telecom Fiji Limited, Harcourts, STANDDS, Pleass Global Limited (Aquasafe), Vodafone, Bagel Boys, ANZ, Fortech, Constructions, Bluescope, BAT, Star Printery, Bank of South Pacific, Hot Bread Kitchen, Janty, Kanvan, Goodman Fielder, Team Twisties, Permal Construction, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Bank South Pacific (BSP Life), Basic Industries, Beauty Mantra, Ministry Of Wome and Team Ride with Pride.

The CEO, Sureni Perera, earlier said that they are always touched by the response of the teams even before they announce the race and this shows their commitment to improving the lives of children with disabilities.

Meanwhile, 31 teams participated in the virtual race.
