Former typist at Suva Family Court Registry pleads not guilty

A former Typist at the Suva Family Court Registry has denied allegations of corrupt practice in the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Seini Rokosamu was charged by FICAC with one count of Embezzlement by Servant and three counts of Obtaining a Financial Advantage.

Rokosamu denied stealing $2,600 from the Maintenance Fund last year.

She further denied falsifying signatures on the Maintenance Payment Sheet for three different people in order to receive $830.

The matter has been adjourned to 5th March.
