Former employee of Ministry of Sugar admits to corruption related offence

A former employee of the Ministry of Sugar has admitted to committing a corruption related offence in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.

Elizabeth Cokomata was charged with one count of General Dishonesty – Obtaining a Gain by FICAC last year.

She admitted to falsifying a receipt claim for accommodation allowance from the Ministry of Sugar amounting to $675.00.

The matter has been adjourned to the 29th of next month for sentencing.
