Former WAF staff member pleads not guilty to bribery charges

A former Water Authority of Fiji staff charged with bribery has pleaded not guilty in the Suva Magistrates Court.

Mohammed Shafraaz Ali has been charged by FICAC with one count of bribery for allegedly accepting a return air ticket to Sydney, Australia worth $1,430.60 in March in 2017 from Sphynx Solutions Pty Limited.

The matter has been adjourned to 19 July, 2019.
