Former Fijian Ambassador to the US, Solo Mara to front court later this month

Former Fijian Ambassador to the US and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Solo Mara will appear in the Suva Magistrates Court on the 25th of this month for allegedly giving false or misleading information and disobeying a lawful order.

FICAC says it cannot reveal the charge particulars in the case for now.

We have been informed that a major investigation is still underway, and more details are expected to be revealed later.

Solo Mara is expected to take his plea before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili on the 25th of this month.

Mara is the Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Development Forum.
