There are no confirmed cases and no one is in isolation in Fiji for the Coronavirus.
The Health Ministry has confirmed that the foreign national isolated at Nadi Hospital since Thursday evening has tested negative for the Coronavirus and has been cleared for release.
The man had come in from Mainland China 11 days ago and contacted the Health Ministry after seeing the contact number in the health declaration information card.
The man had said that he had a fever.
With more cases detected in countries around the world, including in neighbouring countries such as Australia, the Ministry of Health says it continues to be on high alert and is preparing for possible importation of cases.
