To ensure safety for all Fijians in the Northern Division, the Fiji Roads Authority is working on the footpath upgrade works at Transinsular Road Savusavu which is between the Savusavu Town and the Police Station.
While responding to our questions, the FRA says that this is part of their Footpath Renewal Program which will boost the local communities.
Minister for Public Works, Ro Filipe Tuisawau also visited the site to check the road and footpath upgrading works in Savusavu.
The programs aims to improve infrastructure and ensure safer access for all Fijians.
