Flying Fijians lose first test match
The Flying Fijians failed to live up to expectations as they lost to Scotland 23-10 in their opening Test match of the Northern Tour this morning.

While the side did not perform the traditional Fijian War Dance or the Cibi, it did not affect Scotland from keeping their unbeaten record at home intact.

The Andy Robinson coached side took the lead just 15 minutes into play after Johnnie Beattie who ran in a try after an off load from Scottish Captain Chris Cusiter.

The match was an intense one as injury saw Josefa Domolailai stretchered off the field to be replaced by Samu Bolabola.

The Flying Fijians replied in the 38th minute with a try from Vereniki Goneva and a successful conversion from Nicky Little.

Scotland led 16-7 at half time.

In the second half, the home side scored a try which saw them increase their lead 23-7 before Little kicked in a penalty for the final score to read 23-10.

Fiji Captain, Seremaia Bai was dissappointed with the outcome, saying that the score could have been close if his players stuck to the game plan.
