Flour price reduced

Flour price reduced
Good news for consumers.

The price of flour has been reduced from yesterday.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the reduction will apply to ex-factory wholesale prices as well as retail prices.

Sayed-Khaiyum said for the urban areas around Fiji, the price of flour should decrease from $1.41 per kilogram to $1.04, sharps should reduce from $1.43 to $1.08 per kilogram.

He added prices will vary by 16c per kilo in remote parts of Fiji and the decrease is due to the decrease of wheat prices on the international market.
